Verizon to offer online videos from Starz Entertainment

Verizon’s internet access service is now offering videos for purchase online. The US provider has teamed up with Starz Entertainment to offer its 8.5 million Internet customers movies for purchase.

The new service will allow users to download movies for US$5.99 a month. This puts Verizon up against the likes of competitors Netflix and Amazon.com.
