Polaroid intros Pogo inkless mobile printer

kodakPolaroid is soon to release (later this month) its new inkless portable photo printer, called the ‘Pogo’.

Weighing-in at a mere 8oz, and measuring only 120mm x 72mm x 23.5mm, the tiny Pogo is a fantasically pocketable gizmo, and allows users to print photos instantly. Powered by its own battery, it prints 2in x 3in photos onto Polaroid’s own special sticky-backed photo paper, achieving truely mobile printing.

You can either hook up a digital camera directly via the printer’s USB port, or simply bluetooth photos from your mobile phone, allowing on-location printing similar to that of original Polaroid cameras!

The Pogo will retail at around £99 (US$193), with Polaroid’s special photo paper coming in at a rather steep £3 (US$5.86) for 10 sheets.
