Mozilla’s Firefox 3 ready for primetime
Mozilla has unveiled its third version of its ever so popular Firefox web browser. Mozilla is looking for public feedback on the new Firefox 3 Candidate 1 download, and users should expect some minor bugs in the new update.
Firefox 3 boasts improvements in security, ease-of-use, faster performance, increased reliability, and a smaller memory footprint. Mozilla claims that Firefox 3 is nearly ten times faster than Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 7 and three times faster than Firefox 2 with JavaScript performance.
Firefox 3 release 1 can be downloaded directly from Mozilla’s website.
