T-Mobile USA to allow message and call blocking?

It is being claimed that T-Mobile will allow its customers the option to block unwanted calls and messages. The first level of this new option is rumored to let users block out SMS messages with a call to TMO Customer Care or by dropping in their local TMO store. System voice, SMS, and over-the-air updates will still be able to be received. The top level of blocking will prevent SMS, MMS, email, and instant messages from being received.

The message and call blocking service would take place on a per-number basis.
