Olympus intros E-520 D-SLR camera
Olympus is replacing the company’s E-510 with the new entry-level DSLR E-520, a device the company feels is ideal for photography newcomers. This flexible DSLR features face detection, Perfect Shot preview, shadow adjustment, 32 shooting modes, and a plethora of image stabilization options.
Other features of note include a 2.7″ Hypercrystal II LCD display screen, photo captures up to 3.5fps with up to eight images in RAW, a TruePIC III image processor, ISO 100-1600 support, AF/AE lock, and one-touch white balance. This new DSLR is compatible with all E system lenses and accessories.
The Olympus E-520 weighs 475g (16.2oz) and will be available in July for $699USD with a kit lens or for US$599 for body alone.
