iPhone beta firmware 5.0 shows 3G settings
Apple’s latest beta release firmware 5.0 for the iPhone reveals a preference setting for disabling 3G to revert back to GPRS/EDGE connection. The setting reminds users that while 3G is much faster for data, it will drain their iPhone batteries much faster.
