Sprint BlackBerry to launch May 9th
After months of waiting, and several missed “launch dates,” Sprint users will be able to begin ordering the BlackBerry Curve via direct ship on Friday. $599.99 full retail seems a bit steep for those not eligible to upgrade, however at $179.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate on a new 2-year agreement, newcomers should be pleased.
Much to the chagrin of those expecting Sprint to launch the device first, the Curve’s entry into the Sprint lineup makes the company the last nationwide CDMA carrier to receive the device.
