Sony unveils hybrid fuel cell for mobile devices
At a recent fuel cell conference in Atlanta, Sony showed off their new fuel cell technology. The new hybrid fuel cell uses methanol as its main fuel source, and an auxiliary Li-ion battery as backup. The output of the fuel cell is up to 3 watts, enough to power current mobile gadgets, and battery life should offer up to 14 hours of video playback with 10mL of methanol.
