Created specifically for the upcoming Beijing Olympics, Nike has introduced the PreCool Vest so athletes can beat the heat while competing. Slip on Nike’s mod-looking vest, which uses various sized water cavities, to cool down and lower body temperature. If used an hour prior to competition, Nike claims the athlete can last up to 21% longer in competition.

Nike’s PreCool Vest is made of two layers - an inner layer that houses the frozen water and an outter layer coated in aluminum to deflect heat while trapping in the cold. For those looking to purchase the PreCool Vest, you are out of luck unless you qualify for this summer’s Olympics as it is only available to Olympic athletes.
