Scented text messages a reality?

ConvisualFor those who aren’t content with the scents in their everyday life, ConVisual hopes to provide an alternate solution.  The German company has partnered with the Institute of Sensory Analysis and Marketing to develop a scent chip for cellular phones expected to launch with 100 initial scents.  Eight years off of the partnership and with a patent under their belts, the joint concept plans to start building the chips into cellular devices within the next two years.

Thankfully, the technology will include the ability to reject scents; we could only imagine what chaos would ensue if this option wasn’t available.
