BlackBerry Curve, Samsung Glyde to launch May 9 on Verizon Wireless

Both the Samsung Glyde and the BlackBerry Curve, two hotly anticipated phones for the summer season, will launch on May 9th, with a launch across “all channels” on May 12th. We’re not sure of the pricing on the Glyde, however the Curve will release with a two-year price of $270 (after a $50 rebate). Don’t want to sign that electronic pad that chains you to the big red “V” for another two years? A cool $439.99 will get you a new Curve with no strings attached.

Rumors will be rumors, and Sprint continues to push back their Curve launch, however Verizon has a track record of being fairly reliable with their dates.
