Samsung announces world’s smallest color laser printer

If you’re in the market for a new printer and can forego a flatbed scanner, then you might want to sneak a peek at Samsung’s newest color laser printer - also announced as the smallest in the world.  Not only is the new CLP-315K 20 percent smaller than its predecessor, it also boasts “drastically improved print quality.”  

Specifications are 2,400 x 600 dpi maximum resolution, 16ppm black prints and 4ppm color prints, with 32MB of internal memory.  At approximately half the noise of a bathroom fan, the 45dB noise output is sure to please.  The CLX-3175FNK retains similar specifications, however adds a scanner and fax machine, and can be used independently of a computer via memory card.
